What the Job Involves
As the Private Housing Group Manager, you will lead the Private Sector Housing and Enforcement service, ensuring all residents have access to safe, decent and affordable housing. Your role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, improving the quality and regulation of the private rented sector, managing property licenses, enforcing housing standards, and promoting tenants' rights. You will also oversee key projects, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal and external partners to drive improvements and tackle poor property standards and practices. You will be accountable for achieving service objectives, provide expert advice, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
