Who You Are

We are looking for a strong candidate with a proven track record of working to the highest standards, both clinically and operationally. Passionate about the benefits that proactive occupational health can bring to organizations, you are customer, performance, and solution-focused. You have extensive experience managing your own caseload and possess the right qualifications, excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of how practical and effective advice impacts realising positive outcomes, particularly in effective case management conclusion. Ideally, you are OH qualified and preferably NMC part 3 registered.

What the Job Involves

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be part of North Yorkshire Council’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service, a small team of specialist practitioners. This role involves delivering occupational health services, health promotion activities, and health surveillance programs to managers and staff across the Council, Schools & Academies as well as external contracts. The role offers significant autonomy, allowing you to self-manage your workload and work flexibly from home, with the service based on campus at County Hall offices in Northallerton. The ideal candidate will be committed to working 15 – 20 hours alongside a team of dedicated professionals and experts.
