Who You Are
You are a qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory services. You have a strong ability to manage diverse and complex cases autonomously while demonstrating excellent analytical and communication skills. You are confident in managing risks and making evidence-based decisions, and you can work flexibly and proactively as part of a supportive team.
What the Job Involves
This role involves leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014, as well as triaging new concerns as part of the Duty Rota. You will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, conducting strengths-based assessments, and developing outcome-focused support plans. Your role will require completing Mental Capacity Assessments and undertaking Making Safeguarding Personal Conversations to shape risk planning and outcomes. Collaboration with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organizations will be essential. You will apply legislation, policy, and best practices to protect adults from harm or abuse and provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies.
