You are a dedicated and qualified social work professional committed to providing high-quality services to support children, young people, and their families. You adhere to the Health and Care Professions Council’s Code of Practice and are registered with Social Work England. You are confident in your English communication skills, both spoken and written, and possess a sound understanding of child care legislation and safeguarding procedures.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker with the Children’s Social Care Service, you will manage a caseload that includes Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children. You will conduct assessments, devise, monitor, and manage plans for children with multi-agency partners to ensure positive outcomes. Your role includes managing and prioritizing cases, engaging in interagency partnerships, and participating in strategic management and communication efforts to support children and families. Moreover, safeguarding the welfare of children and young people is a critical responsibility.
