Who You Are

You are a fully qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, committed to delivering high-quality services. You have a solid understanding of the Children Act 1989 and 2004, care planning regulations, and best practices in child care. You possess excellent communication skills and have a confident command of the English language to engage with children, young people, and their families. You can manage complex cases and work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.

What the Job Involves

The role involves holding and managing a caseload that includes Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children. You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure positive outcomes for children. You are responsible for engaging in supervision, maintaining good case records, providing support and advice to families, and making informed decisions regarding care and safeguarding. There is an opportunity for career progression from Grade J to Grade K, where you will manage more complex and high-risk cases.
