Children's Social Worker - (Grade I - Inside IR35)

Who You Are
A committed, fully qualified social work professional, registered with Social Work England, dedicated to supporting children, young people, and their families. You possess knowledge of child care practices, legislation such as the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and experience of at least three years post-qualification. Ideally, you have experience in the judicial processes and the complexity of high-risk cases.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker within the Children and Young People's Service, you'll manage a caseload of children in need, child protection cases, and looked-after children. Your role involves conducting assessments, working with multi-agency partners to formulate plans, and ensuring timely positive outcomes for children. You'll engage in interagency working, plan and commission services, and participate actively in decision-making processes. You'll also ensure safeguarding through assessments, risk management, and, where necessary, taking statutory actions.
