What the Job Involves

Your role will involve implementing systemic social work methods to effect positive change and enhance independence among children, families, and carers. You will manage complex cases, assess risks, and ensure care needs are met while exercising professional judgment. The position requires you to lead in complex, statutory cases and collaborate with partner agencies to safeguard children from harm. You will also prepare court applications, uphold legislation knowledge, and contribute to investigations and resolving complaints. Demonstrating leadership, you will mentor junior social workers and contribute to the development of services and practices.
