Who You Are

As an Electrical Inspector, you will join a robust and professional team of electrical engineers working in the residential social housing sector. You must have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a similar role, a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification, and be knowledgeable about electrical installations in domestic and residential buildings. Proficiency in written and verbal communication, as well as MS Office packages, is essential. You should be familiar with producing technical reports and have experience in the electrical contracting or consultancy field, particularly in the social housing sector.

What the job involves

The role involves conducting surveys of low/high-rise buildings, writing condition and feasibility reports, and performing inspections to monitor the progress of electrical works on-site. You will highlight issues related to specifications, regulatory standards, and health & safety, and will liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Customer care, quality control, and a strong understanding of handover processes are crucial aspects of this position.
